I don't have much experience with shower caps, I've never used them. I dyed my hair an on trend crazy Manic Panic color and wanted the color to last for hours. I have thick hair below my elbows and this held all my hair and stayed in place as I slept through the night. It was comfortable, it's thick, durable plastic, but didn't feel like my head was sweating like I feared.
