This cup warmer is ready to use. Just plug it in and put in a cup of water, tea or coffee and it will automatically turn on (depending on the cup's weight) to instantly warm up your favorite drink. It's well built and gets the job done. Heats up fairly quickly and keeps drinks warm. I would suggest you use a flat bottomed cup to speed up the heating process even more. Apart from the central round part, the other part of the product doesn't heat up at all during use, so I'm not worried about burning my hands if I touch the heating pad during use. I am very happy with this heater and use it every day to keep my team warm. Great product and very effective!
