I was a bit hesitant given the price and the fact that I had just tried a slightly cheaper floor stand that didn't suit my needs at all. This stand is excellent. Remember it will be heavy when it arrives, you don't want an unopened package falling on your feet while opening it so be careful. It doesn't matter which side is up as long as you place it on the bottom to open the box (which I suggest) since both sides are filled with parts. This heaviness is directly related to the very stable base, which means that it does not tip over at all when set up. I agree with other viewers that the assembly instructions could be improved. If you're used to collecting things, you'll find out like me. The images of some areas need to be larger, clearer and clearer. I had an assembly problem: the part that screws into the base came with the bottom tab and the top tab screwed on. The lower flap can be unscrewed with little effort. The top edge didn't budge. I put it in the fridge for 20 minutes, then held it over a boiling pot (don't burn it), after a few seconds it unscrewed, but with effort. Also, screwing the top strap to the base (with the support leg on and the base strap already screwed on) required a lot of strength (on arthritic hands). The physique was stable, but later my efforts were complemented by younger and stronger hands than mine. iPad, the one I use, is very easy to insert and remove, the mechanism stays open or closed with no problem, and the iPad does not fall out in the open position. You can connect the iPad while using it. On the back there is a lock on one side, easy to click after inserting any device. However, when the iPad is rotated 180 degrees, the lock may be difficult to access in one direction, until you rotate the device partially in the opposite direction. This is a very small problem. Rotation, orientation and height adjustment work very well and offer a variety of positions. Another small issue for me is that I'm 5ft 3in (I have short legs and arms) so I sit in a small low chair with soft padding that fits me: that means I want to, like this that the shortest pole is about another (or maybe two) inch shorter to be absolutely perfect. However, I had no trouble positioning the iPad in the desired orientation, as the cradle also tilts the bezel up and down, allowing me to tilt the iPad down to put it down. Printing to any device you use is easy, since the holder can be moved in many directions. Because the holder is mounted at the end of a long arm, it has a slight rebound if you have a heavy hand, which isn't enough to keep me from typing. To solve this problem, the entire product must be constructed to a higher standard using heavier metal. which ultimately becomes more expensive to manufacture and results in a higher price. I think the small improvements that the product has in its current form mean that in my opinion it's value for money for everything it offers. The basic weight alone requires higher shipping costs. I use it almost all day. I am very happy with them. My neck and shoulders, which always hurt a little, are much happier because I don't have to carry the weight of the iPad. My arthritic hands and fingers are happier too. I can orient the front of the screen the way I want it and at the right height, even when standing. I can sit in my chair and feel very comfortable which results in significant pain relief. Because it's on four wheels, I can pull it to other chairs or the couch or use it in bed when needed. It would be nice if a wheel (for tiles) had an easy access lock, but I'll admit I haven't had any issues with my tiled areas. From what I can tell it meets my most important needs, is a huge improvement over my iPad, uses it a lot in my daily life, has a decent design, doesn't tip over and is totally worth the money!
