Review on 📷 D-Link WiFi Security Camera HD 2-Pack: Cloud Recording, Motion Detection, Night Vision - Works with ALEXA (DCS-8000LH/2PK-US) by Wes Thao

I bought a pair of DCS-8000LH in 2018 and 2 more in 2019 on eBay (new) for a very low price; Here's what I like and what I don't like: First of all: reasonable price, small footprint, good image quality under lighting, better setup process than old DLink models, new software for good camera viewing. Dislikes: MOTION never works on all fours, prefer 1080p over 720p, night mode can be blurry unless in a well-lit area, short term tech support (30 days or less or you'll have to pay) and made in China. I am very familiar with these cameras and cannot solve the problem. Traffic; You name it, I've tried. I'm concerned about the lack of quality control; In other words, no one is testing these cameras offline with or without updates. Actually just read the reviews here; the move worked for some; Then the firmware update no longer works. I have another, older, more expensive DLink camera and the motion works fine no matter what you do with it. So, finally; I can't recommend this camera to anyone for whom movement is very important. If you want a lightweight camera in a small size and can get a cheap price, this will be just an additional camera. Rating: 2.3 out of 5.
