Worst D-Link camera. Most other D-Link cameras can be accessed directly by IP address. This model requires the use of their application. You cannot connect to the PC after updating the firmware. Cloud recording only when triggered is a bad feature. Other D-Links may use SD cards or permanently transfer data to a local hard drive. Installation is not possible. It should be on the shelf. These cameras allow you to record video, but you have to press a button in the phone application to do so. Motion detection and sound detection work perfectly. They're not high quality enough to give you a positive check as a security camera, but they're good for checking things out or as a secondary security measure (e.g. checking if a contact or motion sensor has triggered a false alarm).
