My son comfortably wears a size 12 and even a size 10. So I ordered a 12/13 to be on the safe side. Well, he's so tense that he can't bend or raise his arms. We didn't try to close it. Too bad it's very soft inside. I'm really frustrated with the return process. The easy ways to do this near my house are always full! And complex paths that I just don't have access to. So it's really a burden and I will avoid buying anything from this seller or other sellers with identical products. So don't trust the real size! Unless your child is very small for their age with a tiny build and is not wearing overly tight clothing, it doesn't match the size. Probably Asian sizes
