I have a wide range of brushes in terms of quality and even the cheapest ones bought with the intention of treating them as disposable last better and much longer than these. I received this set as a gift. Invariably, with ridiculously little use, the brushes began to fall apart, a few of them before they were even used. It started with the paint on the handle cracking and just falling off in chunks while working with liquid acrylic for the first few uses. Then the tip just fell off like there was no glue in it and a pathetic excuse for crimping. The only thing left in the tip is some paint from the handle. In comparison, Michaels' ultra-affordable Loew Cornell American Painter and Robert Simmons Expression brushes still work well after years of similar work.
