Works well but only when plugged in

I bought this case a few months ago for my new iPad Pro 11 inch. I was able to connect it very quickly and it worked great. However, the next time I opened my iPad, the keyboard didn't automatically connect like Bluetooth devices usually do. I went into settings and tried to connect it manually but kept getting the message that it couldn't connect and made sure my bluetooth device was on and in range. turns back on, connects and works great. I have to do this every time I want to use the keyboard and it's really frustrating and annoying. I contacted Snugg via the email form on their website a few days after purchasing the keyboard. and got no reply. I've seen on their Facebook page that a lot of people are complaining that the Snugg support staff never reply to messages, so I think it's a lost cause. It's such a problem connecting it at all. Update 11/18/19: For some reason the keyboard works fine since the update to the new iOS. I no longer have to turn my iPad on and off to connect it. I have no idea what happened, but I suspect it was something in the software. Even though I had these initial difficulties for a few months, I am now completely satisfied with my purchase.
