Review on Yamaha 704 82563 40 00 Switch Assembly 704 82563 41 00 by David Sidman

I'm not sure if this review is about the product or the seller but be careful! I bought this switch for a Yamaha 704 remote throttle and trim switch. The Yamaha model number for an older 704 trim switch is: 704-82563-40-00. This switch is NOT interchangeable with 704-82563-41-00 as advertised by Catalina Marina. The last of the two model numbers is a larger rounded rear derailleur and will not fit a 2006 Yamaha 704 remote throttle without rear derailleur modification. As much as I hate to say it (because I think $70 is a ridiculous amount for a 3 position switch), buy direct from Yamaha using the correct model number.
