Review on 📱 Spigen Hexa Magnetic Air Vent Hands-Free Clip Cell Phone Mount Holder for Car - Black | Universal Compatibility by Patrick Matin

Bought this in anticipation of the arrival of my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 on 9/4/17 . Obviously a big and heavy phone. I tested it on my work phone (I'm a vet who calls the house/yard at least 2 days a week so GPS navigation/google maps, billing etc is done on the phone). The phone is an old big Android phone in a huge, bulky and heavy two piece case. The work vehicle is the latest Honda Element. We broke about 4 car phone holders in the last month, the other two barely fit the width of the phone in our pocket, and the phone suddenly popped out of the clips right in front of us. I put a rectangular magnetic sticker on the inside of the outside of the case. I just installed the vent mount. He makes a very durable impression. The ability to rotate and adjust the mount is great, but it helps that you can also tighten it with the screw part. It worked GREAT. Despite bad roads, bumps, stutters, etc., the phone never wobbled or wobbled. The magnet is very strong, I attached a work phone while still in the office, shook it violently and banged it up and down in the air, and the phone never came loose. This is much easier to manage than mounts that require you to slide your phone in and out with two hands. I know this will work great on the Note 8 and will be posting pics and a sequel soon. It is unobtrusive and well designed. The rubber mount that you clip into the air vents is very secure. The only problem I've had with my car (Volvo 850 '97) is that the vertical adjustment of the vents is very loose. So when you put a phone on the mount, the vent pulls down to the disc portion of the vent mount. comes into contact with the surface below the vent. It only affects/limits the angle of rotation, but to prevent that I removed the mount from the center of the vent and placed it entirely on the lowest bar I could start with. I know some reviewers have noted bad/weak magnets used in this model from time to time. I am thankful that I have a properly working strong magnet. At least 4 of my colleagues will be buying the same product after seeing it in action so I hope to be able to report the percentage of defective magnets soon. I will be buying again and have already purchased additional sets of magnetic plates/stickers for every occasion. This product comes with two large rectangular magnets and two protective stickers. Again one was placed on the inside of the outer layer of the Otterbox case, it stuck very well, I didn't use the protective strip as it had to be between the hard case and the rubber boot. The second magnet I put directly on the back of my old/shabby Note 3 that went out of service when my Note 7 was unplugged has no case and only needs to survive 4 more days. Since the back of the Note 3 is textured faux leather, I was curious to see how the adhesive would work. It sticks very well and doesn't want to come loose. While I'll be buying a wireless charger for the Note 8, I haven't personally tested the degradation of the wireless charging feature yet. Spigen warns that this will at least slow down/complicate it, if not prevent it altogether. However, I don't think this will be a big problem for me as I plan to put a tempered glass screen protector on my Note 8. would be a disadvantage for me. Overall I LOVE this product, I will NEVER use a dash mount, clips, two hand car mounts and it is a very useful and durable product that I would recommend to anyone. 9/4/17: I've added photos and would also like to add that after 4 days of use, sometimes when I take out my phone, the vent stalls. As mentioned, this is more likely to happen if you have a lighter phone without a case (I temporarily use a bare old Note 3 with no case and magnet right on the back of the phone). It doesn't matter, you can remove it to avoid this problem. I still recommend this product over the clip!
