My wife broke her laptop screen because she accidentally turned it off with the mouse. The screen was warped and unusable. We were still able to connect it to an external projector, from what we understand it worked fine. I called everyone and places like Best Buy would charge $85 to "diagnose" the problem and then $300-$500 to fix it. Can I save you $85 and tell you I need a screen replacement!? For the same price (minus the $500 Best Buy) we bought this screen. We figured out how to rotate a video and swap the screen ourselves on YouTube. The screen arrived quickly and was well protected in the box. I already removed the old screen and just replaced this one. It works perfectly! Probably a month later and we haven't had a single problem with their screen. We're both as happy as we could be (considering we almost broke her laptop). :) Make sure the connector on the back of the screen is firmly seated!
