Overall, a good toy, but has some issues. The shapes fall out quite easily so are quickly lost. My son still manages to find one when he wants to play with it though. The pen is decent, but like the shapes, doesn't really stay in its holder. The actual magnetic part works great though. My son loves the multicolor and I've been teaching him tic-tac-toe and letters with it. Its so far survived a toddler walking over it, sitting on it, dropping it, dropping things on it, and much more. Pen is still attached and the shapes are still somewhere in my living room. Kid loves it, so 4 stars from me.
