I used them in my closet to be able to pull items out of very deep shelves to get to items behind. They will work but I should have paid more attention to the size as they are quite small and don't hold that much but they do get heavy depending on what you put in them so a larger size might be a disadvantage in this case. They are of high quality and make it easier to recognize objects. I opened bags of chips in one and bottles (honey, chocolate mix, peanut butter, etc.) in the other. I also used them in my bathroom in the under sink cabinet to store lotion and extra products. Again, they work, but are too small for my purpose.
