This heating pad is a bit different than others and offers compression and support. Apart from the heated portion, the brace has good adjustability and the amount of support can be adjusted as the belt stays tight.The heated portion is powered by a USB battery pack. The battery pack is very similar to other battery packs and portable USB chargers can be used as well. The heat is able to be adjusted to three different levels.The compression of the brace really helps the heat focus on the back and stay where it is put. The levels were sufficient and the highest level was not really hot but enough to offer relief.The battery pack that it comes with lasted for about 1.5 hours. If you want a longer time with the heat on, then a separate battery pack will be useful.Overall, this is a really nice heated back brace and being wireless, it makes a great addition to having support and heat as you move around.
