I've been looking for a better remote than one that doesn't allow you to put a glass remote in your pocket or really hold onto my new Apple TV 4K bc without messing up that stupid touchpad. I even lowered the sensitivity to its lowest and slowest and it's still an issue. Anyway, I figured a 3rd gen remote would work, so I went in search of one only to find out they don't make or sell it anymore. Em. I bought one off eBay but it still hasn't arrived. Luckily this remote arrived quicker and I was skeptical at first but I figured it could be worse, it doesn't work and then I just have another remote that doesn't work. To my amazement after putting the batteries in the remote control. I thought I would have to tie it, but I don't have to. Plugged it in and boom, it worked. So as long as you're within sight of your Apple TV 4K, it'll work for you too! I still don't understand what that button on the right is for? All in all a great little remote control! I hope this helps someone because when I searched no one went into such detail, ON ANY REMOTE I can find! We need to help each other that's why I write so much lol.
