Bought this because I wanted something that would easily and comfortably fit in my purse. For quick mending of bangs and small hairs. It didn't leave any hot spots or wrinkle my hair anywhere. It was pretty smooth. I was also happy that it warmed up almost immediately after I plugged it in.
