Durable USB-C to DisplayPort Dock for Mac or Windows

This new model from Tobenone offers many options when connecting to multiple monitors. I use it with a 16 inch Mac Intel model (not M1). Some Tobenone models use a dual USB-C connector - this one uses two (2) separate USB-C cables. One of them goes directly to the device. (and , in turn, drives a DisplayPort monitor) and the other is a handy USB-C to HDMI adapter. This adapter works on its own so you can unplug it and take it with you when you travel if you just need to connect to a separate one such as a projector My monitors are 4K capable LG displays and the DisplayPort and HDMI connector (one for each monitor ) enabled a 4K display with unique graphics on each (along with the internal Macbook monitor) WITHOUT using DisplayLink software for monitor virtualization important to me since my MacBook is owned by my employer and he doesn't recommend that I put any other software on it download. This model comes with its own power adapter that can be charged Push the computer and connect USB accessories (allows you to keep the MacBook adapter in your travel bag). It's a bit smaller than a regular cigar box (see the picture with the handle for comparison) so it's definitely suitable for tabletop use. The size gives you plenty of room for ports that your MacBook (or PC) lacks. All are listed in the specs, but to highlight a few - lots of USB-A ports, some 3.0 and some 2.0; SD card slots both standard and micro (so you don't need an adapter to use micro SD); 3.5mm speaker/mic combo - all connected via a single USB-C cable (plus another if you need 2 monitors) to minimize plugging and unplugging accessories when switching computers or switch between offices (I have two different offices). So that's a feature I really like in docking stations!). Please note: The USB-C connection with Thunderbolt design AND the computer icon you must plug into your computer for your ports to work! I didn't read the instructions when I first connected everything and my monitors worked but other accessories didn't. So be sure to read the brochure and connect everything correctly! When I did that everything was fine. The construction seems pretty solid; The gray case goes well with my MacBook Space Gray. I also have a Tobenone travel dock and one of the older Tobenone desktop docks; They work well and the tech support is always ready to help you if you have an issue.
