I need a USB video capture for my Mac Big Sur to digitize all my HI8 and miniDV tapes I had a long time ago. It's pretty cheap on Revain and a lot of the reviews were bad for Windows, but the reviews for Mac were good, so I bought it. Yes, macOS Big Sur works great with Quicktime Movie Recording, but it also works with OBS Studio. After finishing all my videos, I tried Windows 10 and found that it works great with my laptop and desktop. It even works with all three programs: Movie Maker, OBS Studio and VLC Media Player. On Windows, the device is AV to USB 2.0 and Windows will recognize it immediately without drivers, as will macOS Big Sur. I like the device very much and the quality is good.
