Review on Premium Stainless Steel Measuring Cups and Spoons Set - 8 Cups and 9 Spoons for Accurate Baking Measurements by Shonda Smykle

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overpriced and poor quality

I bought these because I often downsize recipes and a large number of different sizes makes it much easier. Unfortunately, that's the only thing I really like about them. They came with small black spots on at least half the cups and they don't come off. They're fairly thin to the point that light compression can deform the largest cups, and the grips aren't much thicker. Scooping something thick like raw honey is no easy task. All in all I am very dissatisfied with this purchase. They certainly feel like they're made in China, and I could get similar quality stainless steel measuring cups for less than $10 at a dollar store. Unfortunately the box got lost during the spring cleaning so I couldn't open it until the return period was closed. Now I'm stuck with them and seriously considering whether I'm willing to just throw $35 in the trash and buy another set.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old man
Cons
  • A few little things
