That took 18 months.

These apple slicers are handy, but they're just not designed to take into account many of the safety features for something this fancy. This was a replacement for a plastic one that lasted a couple of years before breaking. I thought this one would be more durable and it feels sturdy with a good weight. However, the joints in the middle appear to have been sealed with pressure and some solder. I'm not expecting forced steel construction at this price point, instead it breaks like cutting and the pieces get stuck in the apple jar. be a bit dangerous. I will shop and buy another one, but I have to warn people that if it meets too much resistance, such as when it meets too much resistance, you should stop pushing. B. bringing a wayward seed near the core. It takes so much force to cut an apple it's hard to tell.
