Review on KRIËGER 2000 Watt 12V Power Inverter with Dual 110V AC Outlets: UL & CSA Approved, Back-Up Power for Small Appliances - Installation Kit Included by Kevin Compton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Automatic shutdown. Bad unit. OEM refuse to accept returns. Bad customer service.

Do not buy this product. After plugging this thing into my bus, wiring and all, I had to rip it out to replace with another product. The work and time just isn't worth the risk. So the problem is that it turns off automatically. I called the manufacturer and went through a lot of troubleshooting processes including putting the battery in Palalel mode/moving the terminal, disabling the remote control, checking the battery charge (I had two new 100Ah batteries) but after one While it still turns off automatically. After all this they still wouldn't take it back as my battery is in low voltage mode. Heck, I just bought two new 100Ah batteries and when the device shut down I was still at 96%. The support usually blames the battery for this. Again, the cost of this device doesn't justify the hassle of removing it from the setup and replacing it with another device. Risk your project time with this junk. Although the OEM refused to act, the TECHBUY reseller kindly offered to refund the money for the product. I will report progress later.
