Review on πŸ‘— Vintage Women's 1950s Petticoat Skirts: Elegant Puffy Tutu Crinoline Ballet Underskirt by Angela Smith

Great petticoat - keeps waist slim and adds puff at bottom

I recently bought a vintage red and white polka dot dress for those who love vintage. We are the same size so when I tried it on with the dress I wore a coral colored petticoat. This caused the flared sun skirt to start at the waist, which wasn't too flattering. Then I saw it. HOW IT'S MADE It's made from a very stretchy nylon (like a stretch swimsuit) in the top. This prevents the lower legs from slipping down. At the bottom of the thigh, where the skirt meets the bodice, the fullness of the skirt gradually increases until you get a nice flare at the knee, but the waist still flatters you. this one (my girlfriend has a dress) but I can say it looks beautiful. This keeps the waist of the dress slim and flattering. It slides down the hips and then has a nice drawstring at the bottom hem. It's enough to make you look pretty, but not enough to make you look like a parasol. FIT The fit starts at 28 inches at the waist and extends to approximately 37 inches. A little more and it gets too tight. The hips also stretch a little. I am a size 16 at the time of writing this review and this petticoat fits me very comfortably. It wasn't tight at all, but it seemed to stay in place. It falls just below my knee but can be pulled a little lower if you want it longer or a little shorter. BOTTOM This is a great black petticoat. This gives the hem just the right fluffiness but leaves the waist flattering. MY RATING IS FIVE STARS. It's MUCH better than my oversized, puffy, coral colored petticoat. I would like to buy another one for myself as I am giving it to my friend who I bought the dress for. She loves it. Black looks great peeking out from under a red and white polka dot dress.
