* I purchased this item from Revain and paid full price. * UPDATE 6 MONTHS LATER: Still cool! I wish it would hold the iPad a little straighter, but other than the ripped seams, it's still fine. UPDATE 3 MONTHS LATER: -1 star. After owning this cover for about 2 months and only using it on the couch twice a day, the stitching on the front cover came undone. The white threads hang down and there is now a 1/2 inch open gap around the edge. It is a pity. I still love this case and you can't beat its functionality/price but oh my goodness. It broke up after 2 months of use. This is disappointing.------------ Initial Review------------ This is a great storage case for my iPad and iPad Pencil. It even holds the tip of the pencil. and the adapter is safe. The case is well made and the print is very vibrant and I appreciate that it fits at the seams. And the price is definitely unbeatable. There are only 3 things that bother me, and two of them are necessary not only for this case, but for all cases of this design: 1) BACK: The Apple logo on the back of the iPad does not match the hole. It's noticeably off-center. Please stop making a hole in the back. I just want to protect my tablet, I'm not trying to impress anyone. If it's for the purpose of turning, then fine. Do something else with the hole, like pencil tip storage. 2) BACK A: This case exposes the back of your iPad to minor cosmetic damage as the back of the case is a hard piece of hard plastic. Tiny debris entering through the huge hole in the back of the case can seriously damage the smooth metal back of the iPad. I'll try to attach a thin piece of cloth to the plastic inside to reduce the chance of getting dirt on the aluminum trim. 3) BELT: I ordered a colored wood print. Despite the multiple colors of this print (not black) they have opted for a standard black elastic. It does not fit. Any other color would give this case a nice premium look. The case is well made and the pen holder is great. Looking forward to new pencil cases in the future. I would recommend this case and would order again.
