I've never tried transitional glasses, so I don't know if this is normal: I can't get rid of the shape distortion no matter how I look at it. Rectangles, like computer screens and windows, are crooked. This tires my eyes very quickly. I'm also having a hard time positioning them in the right spot on the nose for all 3 magnifications to work. I keep pushing her closer, tilting my neck up or down to find the right focus. In general, turning readers on and off is easier and less like walking through a mirrored room in a pleasure house. Maybe everyone is used to that. I don't know and I doubt I can wear them long enough to find out.
