A month ago I ordered another set of elite sponges, they are elite. Use them for cleaning and working in the kitchen. ------ I have been using Dobie sponges mainly in the kitchen for about 20 years and I really liked them, but over time I noticed some changes in the product. The outer mesh is a little looser and not as effective as before, and the sponge is softer and easier to break. I kept using them because they were still better than the alternatives for my purposes, but then I saw these elite sponges and decided to give them a try. Buy some of these elite sponges! More than a worthy replacement for the current Dobie. The outer mesh is firmer but just as gentle, and the sponge feels more durable than the current Dobie sponge. Great sponge for a variety of purposes.
