All my life I have had a deep love for colored glass. Something about it just fascinates me and stimulates my imagination. This set of 4 diffuser glass bottles satisfies my love for colored glass. Well, black isn't much, but with the right decor, it definitely has its place. The glass is very thick and durable and looks a bit like an old vintage bottle. It is particularly beautiful when the sun's rays fall on colored translucent bottles. Unlike colored glass bottles, black has a black matte finish and is opaque. The only thing I don't like at all is the sticky logo on each bottle. Well it's not a bad logo, it just looks gaudy on the bottles. Come on, nobody wants to see that big fat blown up on a good quarter of these bottles. I totally understand that a company takes pride in their product and loves when their name promotes their products, but it's just really distasteful. The only way this could work and be acceptable is for this company to make them as giveaways at a conference table. That being said, it's really a deterrent to most paying consumers. Otherwise, the bottles are nice, the right size, and work great with reed diffusers. I definitely use them, but I turn the bottles over to make sure the logos aren't showing. This set includes four packs of seven 7" reed sticks to get you started. I still have to get used to how best to use them. Love that they don't use electricity or any other outlet and seem safe. I suggest you start with just one stick and add more as needed. Give the stick about a good hour to soak up your oil, then add more and more until you reach the desired amount. I don't have much space and even one with my chosen scent is mild but noticeable. Of course, this will depend on the size of the rooms, the airflow, and the efficiency of the essential oils. It really works, so be careful not to overdo it with a scent that you may find too heavy for a particular area. It would be so easy to give this set a full 5 stars if it wasn't for the big logo on the side of each bottle. on the back of each bottle so we can see who you are and size information. If you can get over the logo and ok with that, then that's a fair price for the entire set. It comes in a beautifully designed protective box and would make a good gift for the right person.
