If you need help, read this!

I've been climbing for a while now and got my Mocs about 6 months ago. I climb in them 3-4 times a week indoors just as a training shoe and I can honestly say they are an amazing all round shoe. If you are just starting out in the sport I would say these shoes are for you. The rubber on the mocs is killer, slides like a champ, you feel where you step through the rubber but it still gives you that grip. Even if your footwork isn't that good, the rubber will last a long time. I've had them for 6 months now and they're still great. The break-in time isn't bad at all, after the 3rd day they fit like a glove. Super comfortable. I used them to achieve V0 - V5 / 5.9 - 5.12. Although I will admit that it is quite difficult to climb more difficult climbs in these shoes just because they are not as aggressive as other shoes like Dragons or Hi-Winkel. (I only wear fifteen, the rubber is too good). To be honest, these shoes only have one downside: they stretch a lot. I still give this shoe 5 stars because it's my own fault for not sizing it up. I received them in my street size which is 10.5 but they may be stretched a full size. So I had to buy them at 9.5. IMPORTANT: You will hear people say that you shouldn't reduce them because they are too painful, don't listen to them. Climbing shoes should be snug, not tight. yes they hurt If they don't hurt when you first take them out, they're too big. For beginners looking to ease their footing into climbing shoes, don't go full size (unless you really want to be a hardcore climber), go a half size down as the stretch really affects performance. Not much, only if you're trying to do a heel hook or toe hook. They also turn your feet red because of the color in the shoes, I don't care haha hope it helped, happy climbing!
