First of all it is installed and working properly. 5 Stars. But during the process I had trouble with step 3 (as did others who installed it) because the instructions are rubbish. So I contacted help@remotestartx.com and the Revain product help chat from the order page. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE AMAZON ROUTE. I was distracted. With a quick response (15-20 minutes on Black Friday) from help@remotestartx.com (Hello B. Hirsch) I got the help I needed to fully install the device. Customer service 5+ stars. So if you need to reset the module (which isn't explained in the instructions), do it: once the module is ready to program (i.e. everything is connected), remove the little black connector. Then, while holding down the button on the remote start module, plug the small black connector back into the module. Wait for the LED to start flashing red. Release the button, the LED should turn red for 2 seconds. It is now reset. Also, every green blink in step 4 is a good sign. The instructions say green blinks, but I only achieved a simple green blink and drove on with no problems. After that, a few turns of the key, part of the computer flashes, and a few more turns of the key. ready! Works perfectly! Thanks again to B. Hirsch. Start-X, give this man a raise!
