The kit came in the mail, installed in 30 minutes. Support has meanwhile sent an email and given instructions on the most common errors. The installation takes place in three steps. 1) Temporarily install in the vehicle, follow the steps about halfway. 2) Disconnect the device and connect it to the computer. Once it is detected, the setup will complete. 3) Reconnect it to your car and pull the wires together. Ready.

I was able to install it in about half an hour. I had an issue in the final stages of setup, but emailed the company and received a response almost immediately. The technical support was very helpful and I was able to solve the problem. I am very satisfied with the start x remote start system. I haven't had a remote start on my truck or any vehicle I've ever owned, it's the best thing there is in cold winters.

Installation was very easy as I have experience with such things. I understand how it could be confusing if you didn't. I would recommend some clearer pictures and step-by-step installation instructions for people with less experience to understand. I had to contact support for an issue at the very end and they responded to my email within a minute and resolved the issue within 4 emails. Literally one of the best support groups I have had the pleasure of dealing with.
