I bought this collar for my 11 year old dog. I was looking for something durable yet comfortable. We hike regularly and spend a lot of time outdoors. The width of the collar was very important in order not to cause direct pressure or pinching when pulled forward during our adventures. The inner padding is very soft and does not feel uncomfortable. when he wears it. The construction is solid and well made. The green is beautiful and looks great with his fur. The only downside to this collar is that it doesn't have reflective stitching. We regularly take him for walks at night. I have a reflective leash for this, but there aren't many that make the collar extra reflective for oncoming drivers/cars. If he ever got out/lost at night with only a collar on, it could be potentially dangerous. I'll look for something to attach to his collar for added security. Unless your pet is a fugitive and/or remembers well, the lack of reflective material shouldn't be a big deal. great collar. I am very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended.
