I'm an active woman who enjoys lifting weights with a shoulder circumference of just under 15 inches. I've only tried it with my left hand, and I'm right-handed if it matters to anyone. The sleeve fit comfortably around my wrist and elbow, otherwise it was stretched too tightly over my forearm and biceps to the point where I didn't feel like I had comfort or maximum range of motion. I could live with that for sun protection, but the finished hem, which was at the top of my bicep area, was so tight that it pinched into my arm and my arm immediately went numb, indicating a loss of circulation, and it indeed was a little sore during the times I wore it. No, I didn't wear it backwards. This might work for you if your biceps are smaller than mine (maybe 13 inches?) and you don't have forearms with protruding eyes.
