Review on ECCO Runner Perforated Sneaker Shadow by Jason Masango

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Durable yet supportive outsole

I'm a longtime fan of Ecco shoes and own dozens of pairs. As with many Ecco shoes, the outsole is initially quite firm, but softens a little after a few minutes. I'm a tall man (6ft 2in, 300lbs) and they are perfect because the soles don't break - like the New Balance 993 and other high end tennis shoes (for real tennis). Fit: They are wide enough for square toes and wide feet. The heel is a bit flat so they are not as snug as normal athletic shoes, but as it is a casual shoe I like it a lot. Also, I have a Haglund deformity that causes Achilles tendonitis and because the healing is so shallow it doesn't put too much pressure on the tendons. If you like Ecco shoes, you will love these. They look great with jeans, chinos or shorts and will be the perfect walking shoe as you can comfortably walk several kilometers. in this.

Pros
  • Removable leather-coated insole for extra comfort and a custom fit
Cons
  • Doubt
