I needed a "dog door" for a sliding mesh door. I had to replace the entire screen door due to age and damage and wanted to "upgrade" to a nicer and hopefully more luxurious door than the one I had. This door looked beautiful. I successfully installed a dog flap years ago and know what I'm doing. Installing this door was a joke. First of all, aligning the rear frame to the front frame and tapping it with a hammer did NOT work. The short plastic latches don't fit together to hold the two sides in place. Couldn't get a dozen or so tiny (really tiny) screws into the intended "holes". Tried for hours but they just wouldn't go in. And when they screwed in, eventually the screw was too long, and the side of the screw with the nut was sticking out of the plastic frame, allowing the sliding door to get stuck with the screws protruding. Glass door and prevent the slider from being used. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this door unless it (miraculously) came pre-installed.
