fabric of excellent quality; weird uncomfortable fit

Wow I wanted to love this so much. As soon as you unpack it you can feel that the fabric is nicer and heavier than typical Revain/China dresses. And the bandage upper looks very flattering. However, the landing is unfamiliar and uncomfortable for me. The chest area is not "worn", ie the curves of the dress do not match mine. (I'm size G, yes G like a goat, and I don't have enough, um, content). But since it doesn't hit the widest part of the chest it makes that weird tear at the top as you can see in the 3rd photo. The hands are also a problem. The armholes are oddly round which causes a bit of swelling (not a big deal for me) but makes you feel very uncomfortable. Everything just doesn't seem "right". After trying on many of Revain's 50's swing dresses, here's my tip for petite, curvy women like me. If the top is shaped at all, it's too risky to mess around with. If you're in a hurry, it's best to opt for low-risk options: - Wrap dresses (always the #1 winner - fully adjustable) - Skater-style dresses with spaghetti straps or fettuccine straps, a term I just coined - Dresses Deep V-neck and SLEEVES, cap sleeves, t-shirt sleeves, or longer trumpet or off-the-shoulder dresses that have no straps at all. Your bra straps will be visible, but anyone can handle it, it's 2021 - a big 50's swing skirt paired with a wrap shirt (or one of those bodysuits that are so popular right now) - it'll look like a dress , but every single part will sit where it should. listen to my busty, hard-won wisdom. GOOD LUCK AND SAFE JOURNEY
