I LOVE that they are made out of soft silicone instead of hard plastic. I was able to put in fresh (diluted with water) juice and freeze them for my little man and he loved it! He's about to erupt some lower front teeth, so I can tell he's enjoying the cold on them. I would only use them on frozen chips under close supervision. As soon as I realized it was melting enough to break something off, I took it away. I hope to pass them on to a friend who is about to have a baby soon when the teething is over. They appear to be very well made so I know they will last a long time. I wish I had them when my son started with mashed potatoes, it would definitely help him try more things as he hasn't been a big fan of regular spoons for a long time.
