Upgrade to 5 stars Overall this headset is great and once I got used to it it was very comfortable. I thought this headset does everything I need for the moment so I'll wait to order it with a mixer and other features. I got used to the mic mute with a lot of time and now it's not so weird to mute and adjust the volume (note: I usually adjust the volume in the Xbox mixer settings, not the volume knob on the headset ). REVIEW: I bought the Hyperx Cloud Stinger and am giving it 4 stars at the moment, but it's most likely a 5 star headset, I just need time to be sure. So far I can honestly say this headset is worth it, but keep in mind I've only had it for about a week! It's very comfortable, great sound, great price, works great with Xbox One and is well made! I don't think you will find a better headset than this in this price range and many people say this headset is better than the very expensive ones I've read. I could get another Hyperx Cloud headset with an audio mixer and a mute button, as I'm not sure I'll get used to moving the mic up and down to mute it like you're using do to the Stinger (I'm used to it). Mute button on the controller that allows for quick and easy muting) and I want to manage the volume settings without going into the Xbox sound settings, or hopefully the Xbox will provide an easier option for that and mute. (You don't need an adapter with this Xbox One headset if you have a controller with a 3.5mm jack) Long review (still updating and awaiting final product review): COMFORT: They are very comfortable for me ( I'm a woman and most of them are uncomfortable and too big for me, but without adjusting this headset fits quite comfortably). When it's enlarged, it fits my boyfriend too, so it's a great headset for a woman and a man. SOUND: I'm no audio/sound wizard or professional, but so far the sound is very good. I mainly played Fortnite br and Destiny 2 with this headset. I still play different games to see the difference between different sounds and use the volume mixer settings on my Xbox One to find what sounds best. On Xbox One, I can press the Home button, go to System, then Audio to adjust the headset volume, set up the headset chat mixer, or monitor the microphone. This headset has a slider on the right ear so you can adjust all volume levels on the XB1 and then simply use the volume control on the ear of the headset when it's too loud or too quiet. Now that I've played around with it a bit I don't see a need to go back to the audio settings on the Xbox to tweak it, I've left it at a certain level which seems to be working great. I did like that all those volume controls were next to the controller, but then again, maybe I can get used to that. The last thing I want to do is try Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos for headphones as I've read that you can use these features with headphones that have no or no surround sound and as some say it makes one big difference. I'm still testing this on Xbox One to see if they actually affect the sound. MIC/PARTY CHAT: Xbox group chat usage is huge and a must for me. I use it to talk to my boyfriend with whom I play games from different rooms and also to my friends. The very first day I received it I connected to the party chat and it immediately said it was making a buzzing or a little noise. He doesn't deal with technical issues or troubleshooting so it was very difficult for me to fix or understand this as he was the only one hearing this noise. The next day he said he couldn't hear anything at all but I'm still a little concerned so I'll try to join other people at the party to see if they hear anything wrong. Update: It looks like this issue has gone and is either related to me being new or my friend's headset and/or being in the Xbox Insider Alpha program. I'm used to the mic mute on this headset and find it takes longer to swipe the mic up or down than just pressing the mute button as I'm used to, but like I said I'll get used to it it. My friend likes the Stinger's mute method more than I do as he has a habit of picking up the mic even though his mic doesn't have that feature. I think it's just a preference and depends on getting used to it. OVERALL RATE: 9/10 I would recommend this headset to anyone. For the price and quality you get you won't find a better headset in my opinion! I hope my review helps you and if you have any questions please leave a comment on this review and I will respond as soon as possible. " button below. Thanks :)
