I had an instance where a ton of soot came out of my hot water tank and it really scared me so I looked at my options and the quickest and easiest option was to buy this hybrid water heater kit. Installation took 4 hours but that was because I didn't have the right tools. So make sure you have the right tools and it will probably only take you an hour. Make sure you read the instructions as it leaked at first and I couldn't figure out why after reading the instructions it became clear why it was leaking. But it works great, the water gets sooooo hot! I LOVE IT! The only thing I don't like about it is that it takes a long time to heat up the tank if I use it all at once. A few hours instead of 30 minutes with my propane heater. Which is good, I'm working on it. I just make sure not to shower and wash dishes close together. I'm a woman and I did everything myself and if I had had the right tools it would have been a lot quicker but overall I'm so happy with my hot water! And I'm not afraid of my RV catching fire! Thanks very much!
