For hanging a 42" TV under an indoor patio. This is a heavy duty unit that includes 4 hex head screws, TV screws of various sizes and plastic spacers. , and a spirit level. It can be installed in concrete or wood (max. distance between points 16 inches). The duct is bolted to the cement panel cladding behind the panels. Don't install it directly on the cement board, it won't bear much weight without cracking. You have to hit the studs from behind. Most modern homes are built 16 inches from the center, so there should be a post about every 16 inches from the corner. You can also measure from a socket as they are also attached to studs. I couldn't rely on the stud finder as I was looking for the studs behind the cement board and behind the chipboard. I ended up drilling 2 unnecessary holes to find the first bolt, so be prepared to fill and seal any holes that don't work. A little exterior sealing and touch up paint will complete the installation. You will need a 5/32" drill bit to pre-drill the holes for wood, which is not included. Get 2 if you can, 2 of them broke during installation, but that's not the bracket's fault. If you can't get it perfectly level it can be adjusted 1-3 degrees in the TV mount after mounting it on the wall so my TV might wobble a bit until I tighten and straighten them. Anyway, it slides out easily and then wiggles from side to side so I can watch TV while I grill. Wouldn't recommend installing in 100 degree weather, bad decision on my part 😁 I added a suitably sized outdoor TV enclosure and used a wall extension attached to the wall with self tapping screws and insulated metal hinges (photos taken previously ). The end product turned out great. Installation time for this block alone took 10 minutes after I found the studs.
