I knew better but did it anyway and thought it would be a good compromise (we have IBM, Dell and Toshiba laptops and Sony Really Nice Monitor). There's no modem port (not surprising, but it would be nice), there's a video display, well, everything is visible on the monitor. One of the USB ports is unreliable. I could go on, but you get the picture. Do not worry.
