I have only had this humidifier for 3 months. It was amazing at first - quiet, wide range of mist options and we slept great with fewer allergies than usual. But about a week ago the engine started troit. I looked after it as instructed - cleaned often, never let the water out of the water and we only run it at night. The motor makes a loud hum that doesn't sound very good. Like it's slowly dying. Disappointed that it didn't last longer, especially for $60.
