No attachment points, no pockets, will not fit most panniers

These are beautiful and well designed panniers. However, they have some issues that I'm not entirely happy with. First, there isn't a single hook, loop, strap, or D-ring to attach anything to. No place to put a reflector or tail light, nowhere to put a bungee, nothing. Serious? Did someone who designed them ride a bike? You always want to add something to something. How difficult is it to add some strategically placed D-rings and maybe a strap for a clip-on flashlight? Second, aside from a very shallow zippered pocket on the top flap, there's no divider or pocket, inside or out. . Anything you put in this bag just jumps in with everything else. I like to always have my tools, a spare camera, a rag, some towels and some zip ties with me. I want to keep all those supplies in my bag separate from groceries, laptop, etc. But no. There is no pocket for a travel kit anywhere. I had to buy change bags and stash my emergency gear in them and throw them at the bottom of those bags where they bounce along with everything else. But at least they jump together. Third, these bags seem to me unnecessarily difficult to close. There is an elastic band on the back of the lid near the rack, which does not slide smoothly over the body of the bag. Every time I close these bags I have to grab the elastics on either side and pull them in place for a snug fit. This keeps the bag nice and tidy when closed and may help protect it from rain. But it's annoying that I can't just flip the valve and close the bag. The clips holding the top flap are surprisingly finicky, too. I don't know why, but I have to put my tongue in the clip exactly parallel or it won't go in. Fourth, packages don't stack up when empty. at least a little when they are empty. But no. They come with hard pieces of plastic that you insert into very neat slots to give them structure and shape. You don't want to remove them every time you empty your bag and put them back in when you load your bag. And even if you took it off, the bag would just hang loose - you can't tighten it, so it's smaller. So these bags are always the same (big) size no matter how much stuff you have in them. Finally, the bag claims to fit most luggage racks. IT IS NOT. The top clamps will likely fit different size racks. And the tab that shares the top clips is really nice and works well. The problem is the bottom clip that keeps the bag from flapping when turning. This is a fixed distance from the top clamps, and the distance is very short! I saw this before I bought it, but figured I could rotate the clamp so it could hook into one of the tubes that run to the bottom of my rack. NOT CORRECT. This clip doesn't move up, down, or rotate—you can only move it left and right. So if your rack's bottom tube is not exactly 7 inches from the top tube, the bottom clamp will not connect. I had to remove the bottom clamp, turn it upside down, and then use a 10" plate to stretch it between my rack's bottom tube and the inverted clamp on this bag. It's a pretty tight fit and it works pretty well. But contrary to what was said, this bag did not fit my luggage rack - I had to open it. I leave bags because I love quick dressing and undressing. And they are a good size and look sharp. But with some design changes, they could be perfect. You are not.
