Review on 🎡 Black Rotel A12 Stereo Integral Amplifier by Guan Yin ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

The sound is exactly the way it was recorded. Reveals the advantages and disadvantages of the phonogram. Good recordings sound impressive, I'm not afraid of this word. Works with dali opticon 5, bi-wiring connection. The link is very detailed, you can hear the nuances even at low volume, but harsh. The bass isn't too deep, but it's fast, provided it's on the record, and it's mostly a matter of speaker and room selection. Power 60 W. on the real channel, not on paper. Easy to check. The power consumption is 230 W., the efficiency of class AB amplifiers is 55-60%, this is the real possible power for two channels, that is, at least 120 watts. At 4 ohms, naturally even more, but the manufacturer does not indicate the exact figure. This model definitely needs warming up, and only then can we draw the final conclusion. At first I listened to the source through the analog input, the coaxial one seemed louder, but too sharp. Now the situation has changed a bit. Suspected cause "warming up". The sound is reproduced only on coaxial, the same natural as on analogue, but louder, more detailed, deeper and wider stage. Naturally used in tonebypass mode or as they say direct.

Pros
  • High quality, detailed sound. True passport characteristics. I recommend to not too big acoustics with soft feed and high sensitivity.
Cons
  • Not managed via mobile app. Requires warming up for at least 2 months.
