Review on KidKraft Wooden Block Set 60 Piece by Robert Staten

TLDR: My set arrived with a bunch of cracked and chipped blocks and Kidkraft customer service was a nightmare so I ended up going through Revain again. It's also worth noting that this isn't a "one and only" set, many blocks don't mix well with others. Long version: When I noticed the split blocks I thought no big deal, I'll contact support as there is a document in the blocks that encourages consumers to contact support with any questions. I go to the website provided where it seems they will get you replacement parts quickly so I filled out all the requested information, name, address, date of purchase, uploaded proof of purchase, batch number, damage proof photos, it actually took me some time, to fill it all in, and even then I wondered if I wouldn't bid my time on something as stupid as building blocks. Click send and I'll be automatically forwarded to customer support via email. Um, ok. So I email again with all the requested information and a few days later I get an email back that seemed like they hadn't even looked at it as they literally just sent what appeared to be an automatic reply, in who asked for it. information again. I'll send it again. Someone eventually responds only to say that blocks don't look like blocks when set. I just have to shrug, this was sent to me and was clearly packaged and shipped by Kidkraft (the blocks mentioned are wedge shaped and actually visible in the product photos). Definitely they ask for more photos and item numbers. I explain that my kit did not have instructions with separate item numbers for different blocks and that my blocks do not have numbers. I have no way of knowing what should be included other than 60 pieces of wood lol. (And even if it was on, who has time to go through 60 blocks and match each one with a position number to understand which is which!? And carefully photograph the fragments and chips on each piece, no thanks). Even if I wanted to spend my time matching logs and item numbers, support never sent me the mysterious missing manual, so I couldn't even if I wanted to. Every time I said there was nothing with part numbers in the box, I was just referred to the "instructions included". Well it wasn't included. I tried to give the company a shot as the product is direct from them and it's like a waist carrying a bunch of blocks back and forth but eventually it becomes really a waste of time. Time. Their support team really isn't interested in fixing issues, so I have no idea why they're asking you to contact them. I would NOT suggest contacting them unless you want to get the royal waist of time. It's worth spending a few bucks more for a different set. How really, don't go that route!
