My 7 year old daughter has a lot of shoes and we have a lot of size 2 and 3 shoes. We have compared them and these shoes tend to be closer to the size 2 that she is. They fit her but is a bit disappointed as she won't be able to wear them next time she grows. These are great shoes! Very comfortable and very light. She also loves pink and blue colors. They are also suitable for wide feet. In fact, she has a wide foot and they fit the width. Maybe even too wide. Makes them really comfortable for you. They may also not be suitable for very thin feet.
