Badly deformed in 9 months
The box looks well made at first, but after 9 months it has become so deformed that it no longer works. The lid is bent at least 3 mm and cannot be closed. The parts covering the bottom are also deformed and pop out of the frame of the box. The hardware consists of the usual lightweight hinges and latches that are functional but cheap and are nailed in place with small brass nails. I would avoid this product and find it made from traditional wood rather than bamboo.
