Suitable ceiling cam to demonstrate lying skills

I used this as a ceiling cam so I can demonstrate and draw work on my desk while streaming or recording for class, it's perfect for that. The 2.8-12mm offers a good FoV (Field of View) range to capture a table from a few meters up without obstructing your head and hands. Standard 1/4-20 tripod holes on top and bottom ensure flexible mounting. A hard-wired USB cable with a built-in circuit breaker is a bit odd, but not a problem for my use case. Aperture control is useful for eliminating glare and adjusting depth of field. It has several annoying features. The lens is clearly varifocal, so you'll have to adjust focus every time you zoom, and the controls are fairly responsive (but lockable). The field of view changes depending on the resolution mode as it adjusts the composition of the image. So make sure your streaming/recording software doesn't automatically change the resolution or you might accidentally drop out of the frame. It's not a fancy camera body, you don't get high-end production video, and the lens exhibits a bit of distortion and vignetting, especially at the ends of the zoom range, but these things pack a lot of features for the size and price.
