So far these cables are working great. I bought it because there are 2 packs. I kept a rope for myself and gave one to my mother. The cords are 6 feet long, giving you plenty of room if you need to use your phone while it's plugged in, or if you need to charge it and the phone moves a little away from the plug. I know a lot of people charge their phone at night, but still want the phone by their bedside for an emergency at night if someone needs to contact you. The cords are a braided material which makes them slightly stronger. 2 cords are also packed in 2 separate sealed bags. If color is important to you, the cables are also dark gray. I am happy with this purchase and will buy the same cable again if I need new ones in the future. I would recommend that to others too. The charging cables appear to be of high quality and work perfectly. I've only had one time where I plugged it into my phone and the phone wouldn't charge, but I can't really blame the cable for that as I may not have fully or incorrectly connected it to the phone.
