I have always preferred a hair tie to a regular hair tie because I feel they are easier on the overall condition of my hair. I love the color palette included in this pack. When I first opened them I didn't think I would like the texture as it is different than what I expected. However, the rubber bands are easy to put on and hold up well. In general, they come in a variety of colors, hold up well, and don't crack. Their texture is different, but I didn't notice any negative effect.
