This is a great size for ground tarantulas, even diggers. The lids snap securely, but I have two issues with my requirements.1. The lid slides along, causing some physical "logistical" open/close problems in tight spaces. Removing the lid requires twice the body length. I wish there was a front to back version instead of a side to side version.2. Mesh cover with holes. This is ideal for drier species as it allows for better ventilation and therefore lower humidity. The solution to getting more moisture is to clean the holes with tape to make them fit. (Because of the glue, always stick from the inside out). Another problem with mesh perforations is that it's almost impossible to see through the lid. Views to the sides aren't distracting, but views down aren't very good. Should be offered with an optional lid with fewer perforations. Perhaps a separate purchase or an option to purchase.
