Great case, well made and very clean. The lid closes and latches easily and the box feels solid once closed. I don't see a problem with 80F, but I can definitely say that it warps in high humidity. Also, be careful when cleaning the case. The sand will scratch it. Overall a great case, but being made from acrylic it doesn't overcome the obvious issues that come with that material.

Although advertised as a breeding ground for reptiles, it is perfect for our purpose. We award enthusiastic 5 stars!

I use this aviary for two of my ground tarantulas. I love that it has lots of air holes including cross ventilation and the magnetic slider is really handy for quick feeding, adding water and cleaning the case. One of my tips is to place the water bowl on the side of the cabinet where the top opens so you only have to move it about an inch to fill with water. The most important feature is a safe enclosure for my tarantula. Babies, and this brand definitely fills that need.

If you want to use it like I did and as listed, you can keep the tarantula inside. Good luck keeping ANY humidity inside. Everything will evaporate almost immediately. This is a great size for ground tarantulas, even diggers. The lids snap securely, but I have two issues with my requirements.1. The lid slides along, causing some physical "logistical" open/close problems in tight spaces. Removing the lid requires twice the body length.
